Change the way you play

Hello again, iPad pals! Today I’m doing something a little different, and releasing a concept I’ve been kicking around for a while; a Wii U and Steam Deck-inspired gamepad for AirPlaying DS games to a second screen!

This ~~weird~~ unique handheld features not one… not two… but THREE touch screen areas! But wait- why in the world would anyone want something like that?!

Well it’s simple; DS games were weird as heck! Some games used the touch screen to control camera movement, like Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and some games like, Super Mario 64 DS, used it for character movement.

Inspired by the Steam Deck, the abstracted touch areas on either side of the display allow you to play these games almost like you would a joystick! The game screen is also a obviously a touchscreen, for games where you need that direct interaction.

You can even use the Screen Swap button to play with the top display in games where the bottom screen isn’t always important, like Mario Kart DS.

So yes, Duo Deck is a kinda strange one, but so are the original Founder Editions for Delta Duo- and they ended up being more popular than I expected! I’m not taking this one too seriously, but I did want to put it out there! Unless the feedback is just positively overwhelming, it’ll just come in this nice Grey color!
