Get ready for something big!

I’ve been asked a lot if I would make a version of Delta Duo for iPad, and for a long time I resisted; I didn’t want to do it unless I felt I could do it right... and I think I might have gotten it right!

So, today I’m really excited to release the first preview of Delta Duo NX for iPad; a true dual screen experience with everything you’ve come to love about Delta Duo!

Features:

Buttons for Quick Save, Quick Load, Fast Forward, Turbo, Screen Swap, and Screenshot
Thumbstick and D-Pad inputs
Full Combo buttons for A/B/X/Y
Materials and design sensibilities of Delta Duo.

What’s in “Preview"

Vertical placement: I don’t know how most people prefer to hold their iPad while playing, but right now Duo NX will center vertically on your iPad’s screen.
Placement of the Fast, Save, and Load buttons: I’m not sure if I like how this looks, but I think it’s a serviceable solution for now.
Lighting, specifically on the “hinge” is not finalized.
Fit and finish: once I get initial feedback for this design, I can start to nail things down and release more colors and special editions

I don’t think I would have been able to tackle it sooner if I hadn’t learned from Delta Duo and Ultra NT first, so please let me know what’s good and what’s bad about this design!
